Project summary: Capturing the value of carbon projects in rural landscapes
Working with key stakeholders in the carbon farming supply chain, the project’s core objective was to improve knowledge and practice in the carbon farming valuation sector.
Theme five of the Carbon Initiative Program aims to increase producer engagement and alignment of activities across the agricultural value-chain in relation to efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, for example linking producer activities to those in processing, transport and retail.
Projects explore the business case for increased engagement for producers in the value chain as it relates to activities to reduce GHGE and identify practical opportunities to increase producer engagement with the value chain.
